My name is Nate Maxwell, and I am the founder of Maxwell Coaching & Leadership Development. I am a certified professional coach, corporate customer service trainer, author, dynamic speaker, and leadership developer with a passion for helping teens and adults become grounded, resilient, and purpose driven leaders. My mission is simple: to help people break through internal barriers so they can lead meaningful, rewarding, and successful lives.
My journey into leadership began at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, where I learned the discipline, integrity, and presence that would shape my career. I went on to serve 30 years in law enforcement, including 23 years as a federal agent and 11 in leadership roles. Throughout my career, I discovered that true leadership isn’t about authority — it’s about empathy, emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect with people in moments that matter.
While serving my community, I also mentored teens who lacked support at home and school. Those early experiences revealed my calling: inspiring, guiding, and empowering others to rise into their potential.
As my career progressed, so did my passion for developing people. I created and facilitated leadership seminars for thousands of supervisors and managers, helping them communicate with clarity, build trust, and lead with purpose. That work opened the door to my next chapter — becoming a fulltime coach and trainer dedicated to helping others grow.
To deepen my impact, I earned my professional coaching certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). Today, my coaching methodology blends emotional intelligence, values driven decision making, and practical tools that help clients elevate their energy, strengthen their mindset, and lead from the inside out.
In addition to my private coaching practice, I serve as a corporate customer service trainer and leadership facilitator, equipping frontline employees, supervisors, and teams with the skills to deliver exceptional service and create meaningful human experiences.
Whether I’m coaching one on one, speaking on stage, training corporate teams, or writing to inspire others, my purpose remains the same: to help people become leaders worth following — in their homes, their workplaces, and their communities.
